Often combined: Namibia & Botswana, but never so versatile!

Your journey begins with a stay in the Sossusvlei, in the red sand dunes of the Namib. Further north along the seal colony and then the Damara Land where cultural heritage of ancient rock paintings in combination with a later visit to the Himba’s will introduce you to a rich culture. Desert Elephants, a cheetah conservation and then visit the Etosha Park so you also discover the African Wildlife. Via the Caprivi you will trade Namibia with Botswana, but first a visit to the Central Kalahari, the Makgadikgadi Salt Plains and then with our professional safari team the Moremi Game Reserve. Your guide on this private safari will discover with you the abundance of herds of zebra’s, lechwes, impalas, giraffes, elephants, predators and a huge variety of birds during the many game drives. The trip is concluded with the Chobe National Park, boat trip on the river and finally the Victoria Falls.

Day 1,Windhoek | Terra Africa

Arrival in Windhoek, transport to your stay and the possibility to visit the city yourself.

Days 2 en 3,Sesriem | Namib Naukluft National Park

You will drive yourself with a 4x4 car with camping equipment through the impressive Khomas Hochland to the Sossusvlei, known for its huge red sand dunes.

Days 4 en 5,Swakopmund | Sandfields Guesthouse

You will visit the sand dunes in the Namib Naukluft Park and travel via the Kuiseb Pass and the Whale Bay to Swakopmund.

Days 6 en 7,Twijfelfontein | Khowarib Camp

You will visit the seal colony of Henties Bay, experience the Desolate Skeleton Coast, Spitzkoppe, Brandberg and travel to Twijfelfontein, Damaraland with hundreds of prehistoric rock paintings.

Days 8 en 9,Erongo | Otjitotongwe Camp

Still reminiscent of the beautiful landscapes you have seen, you will meet nomadic Himba's and the next day you will visit a cheetah sanctuary.

Days 10, 11 en 12,Etosha National Park

The Etosha National Park offers the opportunity to spot many wild animals, including the very rare black rhinoceros! These days are dedicated to bush and game drives.

Day 13,Grootfontein | Roys Camp

After a refreshing dip in the Oshikoto Lake you will drive through Grootfontein, visit the Hoba meteorite and the Ju Hoansi, the Bushmen Culture.

Day 14,Rundu | Kavango

The journey continues to the Caprivi, Rundu and you will spend the night on the Kavango River. This beautiful, watery environment is a transition from the dry areas that you have just left.

Days 15 en 16,Etsha | Nguma Island

You will visit the Mahango Game Park, where grasslands and swampy areas alternate. You will see many different types of trees, such as the acacia, the zambezi teak and the kalahari apple leaf tree. You will take a boat trip through the Panhandle area of the Okavango Delta and you see the Tsodillo Hills.

Day 17,Maun | Discovery B&B

Today you will leave for Maun, the safari heart of Botswana and you will arrive there in the afternoon. Time to complete stock and maintain the car.

Days 18 en 19,Central Kalahari Game Reserve | Brakah Camp (Haina)

After breakfast you will drive to the Central Kalahari, the Haina Concession. The Kalahari is varied and the opposite of what is expected from a desert. It is the habitat of many wild animals, including the oryx, black head lions, honey badgers, cheetahs and leopards.

Day 20,Gweta | Planet Baobab

The salt pans are the largest in the world and you better not 'walk' there. The disorientation is life-threatening! Go with a guide to experience the sundowner tour or upgrade yourself to a nightly tour: sleep in the open air under the immense starry sky!

Days 21,22 en 23,Moremi Game Reserve | BOGA bushcamp

Upon your retrun in Maun, you will leave the rental car behind and continue your journey with 4 × 4 car with guide and equipment from the safari company to the Moremi Game Reserve, known as the best game park in South Africa! Here you can literally observe all the animals that Africa is known for.

Day 24,Chobe National Park | Savuti Marshes BOGA bushcamp

North of the Okavango are the Savuti Marshes, part of the Chobe National Park. The savannahs harbor herds of zebras, wild dogs and big lions.

Days 25 en 26,Kasane | Kwalape Safari Lodge

Today further north, to the Chobe River with many wildlife and large herds of elephants visiting the river, admire them and many other animals on a boat trip at the end of the day on the river.

Day 27,Victoria Falls | 'A Zambezi River Lodge

By transfer to Zimbabwe, where you visit the Victoria Falls. One of the Seven World Wonders! The next day you will be taken to the airport to return home.
